General Description:
 Dr. Raihan Rabbani graduated from Dhaka Medical College in 1999 and started his life as a physician in the same institution by doing his internship. After his internship he pursued the rigorous path of post-graduation in Internal Medicine. He was trained in Dhaka Medical College for next 3 years in Internal Medicine. In 2003 he started serving as Medical Officer of Bangladesh Government Health Service. He served in upazilla level for few months before he was assigned at Mymensingh Medical College Hospital for 2 years as an Indoor Medical Officer. In 2005, He passed the prestigious FCPS examination of Bangladesh College of Physicians and Surgeons (BCPS) as one of the youngest doctor of his time.
After achieving the post-graduation he worked in Apollo Hospitals Limited as a registrar of Internal Medicine for about next 2 years. He then joined Square Hospital in early 2007. He got a rare chance of developing himself professionally by doing 3 years residency training in USA in his field. He was trained in Sinai-Grace Hospital of Detroit Medical Center in Detroit, Michigan from 2007 to 2010. He excelled in his training is USA & was awarded `best trainee of the year’ twice during his training. Critical Care Medicine was also an integral part of his training in USA. Certification as Diplomate of American Board of Internal Medicine added another bright feather to his cap.
After completing his residency training Dr. Rabbani came back & joined SQUARE Hospital. He has participated at numbers of national and international conferences and presented scientific papers at various occasions. He is a member of American College of Physicians (ACP). Since September 2010 he is serving at SQUARE Hospital as an Associate Consultant of Internal Medicine.
