Dr. Md. Arifuzzaman completed his MBBS from Shaheed Suhrawardy Medical College. After graduation he pursued his career in ENT & HNS department of Dhaka Medical College Hospital. Over the period of 3 years he skilled himself in the field of ENT and Head Neck Surgery. During this period he managed ENT emergencies like cut throat injury, emergency tracheostomy, road traffic injury and performed variety of microscopic, endoscopic and advanced neck surgeries. After that he joined Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University in 2016 and trained exclusively in Laser assisted micro laryngeal surgery.
Dr. Md. Arifuzzaman attained FCPS from Bangladesh College of Physicians and Surgeons in ENT, Head & Neck Surgery. He was awarded Fellowship from American College of Surgeons (FACS). Evaluating and managing patients with deafness and vertigo / dizziness problem is his special field of interest. He obtained Fellowship in Microscopic ear surgery, Endoscopic sinus surgery and Cochlear implant surgery from prestigious KKR ENT Institute & Research Centre, Chennai, India. He is also trained in Rhinoplasty & Sleep apnoea surgery from national & international faculties in hands-on workshops.
Dr. Md. Arifuzzaman has published research papers in renowned national & foreign journals. He is a life member of Bangladesh Society of Otolaryngology & Head-Neck Surgeons, Bangladesh Society of Rhinology, American College of Surgeons. He has vast experience in the field of ENT & Head Neck Surgery and now consulting patients as Specialist- ENT, Head and Neck Surgery.
